Links Group, the UAE’s leading provider of commercial facilitation and advisory services, has received an accolade from the Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI) for its ongoing achievement in attracting foreign direct investment to the UAE.
The company was presented with the honourable ‘Dubai FDI Coin’ during a collaborative trade promotion mission to London. Links Group was called upon to educate participating British companies on how best to establish a commercial presence in the region as both countries look to deepen economic relations.
Founded in Dubai in 2002, Links Group was the first company of its kind to be endorsed by the government of Dubai through a strategic alliance with Dubai FDI, an agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED).
Since 2010, Links Group has worked with the agency to facilitate inbound and outbound foreign trade and investment flows in the UAE.
Corporate partner structure
The introduction of Links Group’s corporate partner structure for local partner services is a model instrumental in helping foreign companies to navigate the ownership requirements of local company laws pertaining to onshore commercial arrangements.
John Martin St Valery, founding partner, Links Group, said: “The accolade is testament to our combined and continued efforts to make ‘doing business’ in the region easier. I would like to our staff for their dedication to excellence and Dubai FDI for the confidence placed in us to support trade and investment in the emirate.”
Today, Links Group is widely recognised as an important bridge between foreign companies, overseas trade bodies and local government agents, facilitating all matters related to establishing a commercial presence in the region.
